Clarkson delivers on podium promise to Alpine with beer bounty
Jeremy Clarkson has come through on his bet, delivering a trailer of beer to the Alpine F1 team after Esteban Ocon's stellar podium finish at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Jeremy Clarkson fulfills Alpine promise
Known for his unabashed candour and wit, Jeremy Clarkson has followed through on his public wager with the Alpine Formula 1 team.
The British television personality, widely recognized from The Grand Tour, promised to treat the entire team to beer if they secured a podium finish at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Taking the challenge to heart, Alpine's Esteban Ocon rose to the occasion, holding steady throughout the race to take the chequered flag.
His stellar performance not only earned him a place on the podium but also marked the first time a driver outside of the top three teams featured on the podium this season.

Clarkson's grand delivery
True to his word, Clarkson arrived at the Alpine factory driving a tractor and pulling a trailer loaded with his own brand of beer, Hawkstone.
Using social media to document the occasion, the Alpine team thanked Clarkson: "Delivering on his word. Cheers for the beers, Jeremy Clarkson."
The event was not just about honouring a bet. Clarkson cleverly used this opportunity to place his brew’s branding on the Alpine A523, gaining some coveted publicity for his beverage.
